Meet the team

read their stories and follow them on social.

Under the leadership of Red Rocks Church, the team sets the table to make sure that Thursdays are all they can be for the young adults of Denver.

Connor Grim

volunteer lead

Connor Grim grew up in northern VA with his amazing family and incredible grandparents. After graduating from Southeastern University he moved out to Colorado and spent just over a year helping start a church in Littleton. He soon began to get involved in Red Rocks Young Adults and loves serving in every area of the church. He loves football and basketball, cooking and reading, and will gladly serve up a slice of humble pie to anyone daring enough to challenge him in NBA 2k. He hopes to one day plant and pastor a church, but enjoys every second of his time working with his friends and family here at Red Rocks.

Keaton Tucker

Lifegroup & College outreach Lead

Keaton is a Colorado Native, born and raised in Lakewood CO. He has been a part of Red Rocks Young Adults for the last 4 years and had the opportunity to intern in the Fall of 2016. Keaton enjoys anything outside on warm summer nights, Crossfit, long boarding, SpikeBall (bring it on), reading all the books, board games (again, bring it on), theology, and anything science.

Zach Atwood

Operations & Events Resident

Zach was born and raised in Colorado, enjoys a good Netflix binge here and there, and loves all things chocolate. After graduating from University of Denver, Zach worked in HR at Sports Authority (RIP) for 3 years before being bit by the ministry bug. After a few years of ignoring that call, he jumped into the internship program at Red Rocks Church in 2017 and hasn't looked back! In his spare time, you can find Zach enjoying hipster coffee shops, heading to the theater to watch the latest blockbuster, or hanging out with his homies somewhere around Denver.

2018-2019 Interns

Emily schmalz

Emily was born and raised in Colorado and just graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Finance! Halfway through her senior year she felt God asking her to drop a few things in her life, right after the internship application opened and the rest is history! She is excited to see God change the lives of her generation and raise up young adults to build the kingdom. In her free time, she enjoys roller blading, painting, bothering her peers with obnoxious music, and indulging in the finer things in life (cheesy potatoes).

lindsay adams

Lindsay grew up in Seattle before graduating from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.  After that God told her to go on the World Race. While on her mission, Lindsay was introduced to Red Rocks Church and the YA department. Ever since, Lindsay knew God was calling her to peer discipleship. She loves sitting down with young adults and hearing how God is working in their lives. 6 weeks after returning to the US, Lindsay packed her things and drove to CO! When not working, you can find Lindsay looking for her next adventure- whether that’s surfing, snowboarding, or traveling.  Or binge watching The Office.

Milanna Martillaro

Milanna is a Colorado native. Prior to YA, she went to school for biochemistry in Oklahoma (BOOMER SOONER) before moving back home and transferring to CU Denver. Before the internship Milanna coached youth volleyball and loves the tiny humans. Milanna is a day-one Belieber and will often be found jamming out to the Biebs or updating you on his life. In her spare time she also likes to hike, eat good food, and spend time with her dog!  Milanna has been attending Red Rocks Church ever since she moved back to Colorado. She has a huge heart for the young adult generation and their role in building up God's kingdom. She has a deep love for the Lord and a desire to serve His people well.

Michael has lived in Colorado for the past 12 years after spending his childhood moving all over the United States. Michael started attending Red Rocks in 2010 while studying Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines and is passionate about serving young adults and the local church. In his free time Michael loves to cook, swim, exercise, and tutor and coach high school students. Michael enjoys playing board games and getting into all sorts of shenanigans with his family and friends. Michael left behind a career in engineering and a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy to pursue Gods call over his life and is so grateful for the opportunity to spend the next 9 months interning at Red Rocks Church!

Born in Denver. Raised in Bailey. Tyler started going to YA a little over 2 years ago and has been hooked ever since! He loves cooking, just about any sport (just about), and loves watching football and baseball (Go Rockies, Go Broncos). Tyler began his YA Intern journey knowing that God was and is calling him into the role of teaching and preaching The Good Book, and while mildly terrified, Tyler is also beyond expectant and thrilled for what is to come!
